BASS GUITAR. VOCALS

James started playing bass guitar about 5 years ago when he joined The Yellow & Blues Band. He lists his musical influences as James Jamerson, Marcus Miller, Flea and Andy Bell.

James likes all sorts of music especially rock, soul and blues. His favourite bands are Greenday and Oasis, while favourite solo artists are Eric Clapton and Gary Moore. He is also a great fan of The Commitments.

James's first bass was a Vintage which was a copy of a Music Man Stingray – he still has it to this day! He now has an American Fender Jazz Bass which he says is ‘great'. He loves being in the band, and gets a real buzz when on stage.
