RHYTHM & LEAD GUITAR. VOCALS

He first got interested in the guitar at the age of 6 after watching his dad's Queen video's. He instantly became a huge Queen fan, and used to sit and watch Brian May playing guitar at every spare moment he could. Brian May became an idol – and still is to this day. He started to research the distinctive sound of May's guitar, and just had to have one like it! His parents then bought him an Encore Strat Copy for Christmas when he was 15 years old.

Scott and a friend who also played guitar formed their own group called Evolution; they played a few gigs, but the music wasn't really to Scott's liking. Just before his last day at school, he was asked to perform at the leaver's Assembly with some other Year 11 boys. He then asked one of the teachers at school if James and Joe from NYK could perform with them. They performed in front of the whole year group and went down well.

Shortly after this, Scott was approached and asked to join NYK. He discussed it with his parents and was soon installed as the 6 th member of the band. He didn't have long to settle in – one week later he was on stage in Centenary Square at The Bradford Festival. He admits to being extremely nervous, but once on stage, the nerves went, and he hasn't looked back since. His special moment since joining the band was when they were joined on stage by Mike Craft of Smokie to sing Over You, Scott's favourite song of the set, which was written by Mike.

Scott says that joining NYK is the best thing he has ever done – he now owns 5 guitars, including the one he always wanted, the Burns Brian May Guitar!
